During high school, Jurnee developed an early interest in the criminal justice field through her involvement in the Criminal Justice Program and the Aransas Pass Police Explorers Program. Through this program, she gained exposure to law enforcement operations, including patrol incident response, building searches, traffic stops, and other investigative procedures.

Jurnee graduated Magna Cum Laude from Sam Houston State University in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology. Throughout her academic career, she earned placement on both the President's List and Dean's List for multiple semesters. 

As a McNair Scholar, Jurnee conducted and presented original research titled An Exploratory Study of Wrongful Convictions of Juveniles, which was showcased at the Undergraduate Research Symposium. Her research focused on issues within the criminal justice system and further strengthened her commitment to advocacy and justice.

Following graduation, Jurnee spent two years as an elementary school teacher. While she valued the opportunity to educate and mentor young students, she ultimately chose to pursue her lifelong passion for criminal justice and investigations. Today, Jurnee serves as a Licensed Private Investigator with Gradoni & Associates, where she works on a variety of civil cases, assisting plaintiffs in gathering critical information and evidence to help them pursue the justice they deserve. Jurnee’s educational background, research experience, communication skills, and investigative training, has made her a valuable member to our diverse team.
