Attorney John M. Petruzzi represented a defendant who was charged with entering an apartment and brandishing a knife at the occupants.

Our investigation revealed that the defendant was intoxicated at the time and the apartment he entered had once been rented to one of his close friends. Both complainants admitted that they never saw a knife in the defendant’s hands.

The case was reduced to a misdemeanor and the defendant was released with time served.

RESULT BASED ON INVESTIGATION: Felony Aggravated Assault Reduced to Misdemeanor
