Attorney Gilbert Garcia represented a mother charged with the physical abuse of her three children.

While the mother was at work, the Children had run away from the babysitter. When the mother finally found the children and brought them home, she disciplined them to impress upon them the danger they had placed themselves in with a spanking.

When the children went to school the next day, the youngest child told one of the teachers what happened, who then called CPS.

When the Defendant was contacted by the school, she was threatened because of her illegal status and told that her children would be taken away from her after she was deported.
