Our investigation determined that the female’s identity was false. Investigators found the female, who admitted to not only making up her identity, but the identity of another female that the defendant had been corresponding with on a daily basis.

The female was subpoenaed to court.

When the jury heard how the defendant had been tricked, the Government offered the lowest possible sentence, which the defendant wisely accepted.
